The Yorkshire Playhouse Box Office is staffed by volunteers and is there to assist you in making arrangements to enjoy our productions. Location: The Box Office is located in the lobby of the Playhouse building located at 517 North Lincoln Ave in downtown York. We are located across the street from the York County Courthouse. Hours of Operation: Reservations may be made in person or by calling 402-362-7060 during Box Office hours. For General Admission-The Box Office is open from 5:00-7:00pm Monday through Wednesday during the two weeks of the production and 90 minutes before each performance. For members of the Yorkshire Playhouse-The Box Office is open for Members Only Reservations the Thursday and Friday before opening week from 5:00-7:00pm. Members who are Benefactors and Gold Patrons may make reservations the Wednesday before production from 5:00-7:00 p.m. House Rules: Reservations can be made either in person or by phone. You may pick up your tickets ahead of time by stopping at the Box Office during operation hours. If you have special seating needs (arm-chair, wheel chair), please mention that when making your reservations, we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Any tickets picked up prior to the production must either be paid for at that time or be a pre-paid membership. Once the tickets leave the Box Office, they are the responsibility of the patron. If the tickets are lost a replacement ticket must be purchased. For your peace of mind, the Box Office will hold your tickets until curtain time. Any tickets NOT picked up 15 minutes before curtain will be re-sold to patrons on a waiting list. As a courtesy to the cast, crew and audience, No one will be seated once the production has begun. No refunds will be given, but arrangements can be made to switch tickets for another performance provided the Box Office is notified before the production begins. Members who make a reservation and do attend the performance will have that admission docked from their membership UNLESS the Box Office is contacted. The Box Office will be staffed during the duration of the performance, so please contact us or your admissions will be docked. Performances may be cancelled due to weather or other extreme circumstances. In that case, the Box Office will do their best to notify ticket holders of the change. If a performance is cancelled, a replacement show may be arranged. Refunds can be arranged if the Playhouse cancels a show. Please do not bring cameras into the theater and please turn off all pagers and cell phones during the production. |
