Join the Yorkshire Playhouse in partnership with Cornerstone Bank for a matching funds drive for Giving Tuesday to help make virtual performances a reality in this years’ “Go Digital in 2021” Campaign. For every dollar donated, Cornerstone Bank will match that dollar, until we reach our goal! Five dollars becomes $10, $25 becomes $50, etc. We set our goal for $7500, meaning that Cornerstone Bank will match up to $3750! Funds raised will be used to help purchase the sound, video, and software needed.

Theatre is challenging in 2020.
The Playhouse is bringing audiences back into their theatre as safely as possible but can’t host as many people in the building, and Covid-19 makes every production insecure.
They know that their 2021 season is expected to face the same challenges.
The solution...Go digital in 2021!
With a combination of in-house, masked, and socially distanced performances and digital performances, they hope to make their 2021 year a great success!
In order to make digital theatre a reality with the Yorkshire Playhouse is hosting a Giving Tuesday Fundraiser as they look to GO-DIGITAL in 2021.

The Yorkshire Playhouse is announcing, in partnership with Cornerstone Bank, a matching Funds Drive to raise the money needed to purchase sound and video equipment in order to provide a quality at-home experience to its members and theatre enthusiasts.
The goal is to raise $7500 in a one week period! Cornerstone Bank has generously offered to match all funds raised up to $3750 on December 1st! This will truly allow the show to go on for virtual audiences located near or far away both in 2021 and years to come!
The Yorkshire Playhouse Board of Directors hopes to see many people join us as we GO-DIGITAL in 2021.
