Drama! Romance! Villainy! Get ready to boo and cheer in this outlandish, family-friendly melodrama! Melody Truelove and Goodwin Dalrymple are recently betrothed and set to inherit a coal mine that is currently owned by their widowed mothers. But all is not starry eyes and roses! Sebastian Hardacre, an evil banker, steals the coal mine from under their noses so he can steal the silver that is rumored to be buried within. Can Goodwin save the day? Or will the family mine be forever lost to Sebastian’s greed?
Auditions will likely consist of cold reads and some improv, but the exact process is at the discretion of the director.

5 Week Rehearsal Schedule
Rehearsal times are at the discretion of the director and a tentative copy of the schedule will be available at auditions. Actors must disclose all conflicts at the time of auditions. Generally, rehearsals are held in the evening Mon-Thurs, with a weekend rehearsal the week the show begins.
