We are so looking forward to seeing you at one (or all) of our audition nights!

Rehearsals begin March 4

Performances are
March 28-29

4 Week Rehearsal Schedule

Rehearsal times are at the discretion of the director and a tentative copy of the schedule will be available at auditions. Actors must disclose all conflicts at the time of auditions. Generally, rehearsals are held in the evening Mon-Thurs, with a weekend rehearsal the week the show begins.

The Yorkshire Playhouse is once again honoring two community playwrights! The 2022 winning script, Ghosts, will be performed alongside the 2023 winner, Macrame Owls and Matsutake Mushrooms.

In Ghosts, written by Raima Kreifels and Lily Houston, five female ghostwriters are invited to a mysterious island, where they are forced to write Julius Henker’s ‘autobiography.’

Macrame Owls and Matsutake Mushrooms, written by Daniel L. Wolff, is a contemplative piece about members of the Critics Anonymous Support Group. Witty, fast-paced dialogue drives the show toward its thought-provoking conclusion.

We apologize for the last minute notice but auditions have been moved to Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:30PM. There will be no Monday audition. Sorry for the inconvenience.
