Do you like Christmas? Do you like Christmas music? Would you like to be part of a wonderful Christmas music variety show with minimal rehearsing? Then this is the show for you.

Don’t miss this chance to perform and help celebrate the Christmas season as well as the Yorkshire legacy. All ages and voice types are encouraged to audition. A quartet of carolers will be selected from among the auditioners. In addition, a children’s choir may be selected.

In addition to singers, we are looking for dancers, instrumental performances, and readers/narrators for our variety show!

Auditions will be held Aug 15 -17 from 6:30 - 8:00. All ages and voice types are encouraged to audition

Rehearsals begin

October 24

Rehearsal time is limited for this performance. Quartet and Children’s Choir will have more rehearsals, but most performers will have a few one-on-ones with the musical director over the weeks leading up to the performances. Then must attend scheduled full show rehearsals, which will begin a couple weeks before the show. Performers should expect to perform in all performances.

No experience or preparation needed!

Auditions will consist of an individual or group performances of a song, dance, or reading of your choice. Please, prepare accompany music in the form of a karaoke track. If you would like to provide your own accompaniment by playing an instrument or having someone perform with you, you may. We have a piano. Other instruments welcome; if desired, bring your own.

“Winter Holidays” is the theme. Please, audition using a song with which you feel comfortable, but performances will be holiday related.

Group and individual acts are welcome. You may audition for multiple mediums: singing, dancing, instrumental performance, and oral interpretation. You may audition as both an individual and in a group.
