"Pride and Prejudice" Auditions

Audition Dates: December 11, 13, 14 from 6:30-8:00PM

Roles available for 2M, 3W, 3-5N/S (8-10 total) ages 15 and up.

In this stage adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic novel, Lizzy Bennet discovers that looks truly can be deceiving. Lizzy and her sisters have no hope of a successful future without a wealthy man in the picture. Lizzy has little desire to be wrapped up in romance, and that is doubly so after she meets the proud and arrogant Mr. Darcy. However, Lizzy soon discovers that her own prejudices may be preventing her from seeing Mr. Darcy’s true character. 


Auditions will consist of cold reads and some improv. In addition, you will be asked to perform a dance with a group. See the video below to rehearse ahead of your audition time. You may be asked to sing badly.

6 Week Rehearsal Schedule

Rehearsal times are at the discretion of the director and a tentative copy of the schedule will be available at auditions. Actors must disclose all conflicts at the time of auditions. Generally, rehearsals are held in the evening Mon-Thurs, with a weekend rehearsal the week the show begins.
