The village of King’s Abbot is shocked when a local woman dies suddenly. Rumors of possible suicide or foul play float through the homes, and the fears of the townspeople are realized when the wealthy man, Roger Ackroyd, is murdered in his home. Will they be able to solve the mystery concerning the whereabouts of the murderer? Perhaps newcomer Hercule Poirot will be able to unravel the stories of the suspects.
