The Yorkshire Playhouse recently lost a dear friend and dependable volunteer. It is difficult to find words adequate to portray everything she did and meant to us at the Yorkshire. Her presence, her spirit, her willingness to serve, her laugh, her energy, and her unique personality were gifts – we were richly blessed by them and we will surely miss them. Others will have to do what Marcia did, but no one will ever take her place. The family has directed memorials be sent to the Yorkshire Playhouse and we are honored to receive donations in memory of Marcia and her tireless service and devotion to the Playhouse.

Theatre is different in a Covid-19 World.
We’re adapting and attempting to create a safe environment for participants to be involved onstage, backstage, in the front of the house, and in the audience. We appreciate your patience and understanding that as the risks change so will our procedures.
We’re doing our part by asking all participants in our productions to participate in a code of conduct intended to help minimize the risk of Covid-19 among our participants and our audiences.
We will host virtual performances of our shows during the Covid-19 pandemic. We will host in-person performances whenever Community Spread of the virus in our area is low enough to responsibly do so. RED level status will automatically prohibit performances in the theatre. Masks and Distancing will happen at all Playhouse events unless the rate of transmission is incredibly low.
Please, consider supporting the Playhouse and our community by following all CDC and Four Corners Health Guidelines.
P.S. Some of the information on our website may not always be up-to-date. We update our website as time permits. All new and current information (cancellations, other show information, etc…) is located on our Facebook page. Please follow us for the most up-to-date information.
Volunteer
Everything happening at the Playhouse is the result of countless hours of work from volunteers. Your talents, skills, and time are welcome and desired. Please contact us on the ways you wish to serve.

Ruth, a young girl with big dreams, wishes to join the Round Table with King Arthur and Queen Guinevere. Her performance, while entertaining, is viewed as child’s play by the knights. Frustrated, she rushes off to find her own land to rule, but is met with danger along the way. Will this fiesty young girl be able to fight off evil with the help of her forest friends? Or will her own pride get in the way?
