The 2026 Melodrama is a fundraising show for both the Playhouse and Wessels Living History Farm! Tickets are for sale online and at the show (if still available). Plan to buy popcorn at the performances and drop by Wessel’s Bovine Cafe!

The Yorkshire Playhouse Children's Theater presents: "A Grimm Adventure" June 18-21. Come join in on the fun as the kids go on another incredible adventure. We've got a fantastic cast of kids in this year’s performance, so purchase your tickets today!
Tickets are only $15.00!
Our Box Office will be staffed on June 8th to facilitate early ordering. Then it will reopen on June 15th, the week of the show Monday - Saturday (June 17-23) from 5:30PM to 7PM. If you need help ordering tickets or prefer to order and pay by phone, please leave a message. Volunteers will check messages and respond as needed between June 10th and the performances. All tickets must be paid for at the time of reservation. We do not issue refunds.
These tickets sell quickly! Don’t wait to book your tickets!
Performances frequently sell out. Should a show sell out, a Waiting List will be made. If you would like to get on the Waiting List for any of our shows, please email yorktheater@gmail.com, or call or stop by the Playhouse during the Box Office Hours. Please, remember our Box Office is staffed by volunteers.

Parents -- if you are struggling to book tickets with Vouchers, instructions on how to book your tickets can be found here. Your Discount Code is “DISCOUNT + Number of Vouchers being Used”. For example to book to tickets using Vouchers, you Discount Code is “DISCOUNT2”. To book four ticket, the Discount Code is “DISCOUNT4”. You must submit the Voucher Number on your Voucher during Checkout and bring your Vouchers to the performance to give to Box Office Staff when you pick up your ticket. If you do not, you will be asked to pay for your tickets.
We do not do refunds. If you have questions, please contact us before you book tickets.
