Audition Dates:

Wednesday & Friday, May 9 & 11 -- 3:30PM-6PM

Saturday, May 12 -- 1PM-3PM

Open auditions will be held for children who are entering the 2nd Grade to teens entering their Senior year.  Auditions consist of cold reads and improv; no prepared material is required.

Or parent's can contact us via email at yorktheater@gmail.com. When emailing, please include your name, your phone number, your child's name, the grade your child will be entering in the fall, and the times they are available to audition.

Parents may also call us on Thursday or Friday May 3rd & 4th from 2PM to 5:30PM to set up an audition time.  As our Playhouse is staffed by volunteers, we will only be setting up auditions by phone on these dates. Parents may email us any time until May 12th.

Walk-ins on day of auditions will be given the next available audition time. There is a fee for all children who are involved in Children's Theatre, which will be paid at the parent meeting prior to rehearsals beginning. Scholarships are available.  Parents are expected to be involved in some aspect of the production. Rehearsals begin May 28th and all children are expected to attend all rehearsals or notify the director of any conflicts at auditions. Performances are June 21-23 @ 7PM and June 24 @ 2PM.
