Yorkshire Playhouse is holding open auditions for our Summer Musical! Be a part of a small cast of four characters who sing and dance and play all the roles in this exciting satire of musicals! 

Audition Dates:  May 21-23, 2018  - 6:30PM-8:30PM

Rehearsals Begin: May 28th

Performance Dates: July 24-29

Do you love Musicals? So do we, so we are going to do them all. “The Musical of Musicals (The Musical) is a musical about musicals. This brilliant satire imagines what would happen if Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Jerry Herman, Andrews Lloyd Webber, and Kander & Ebb wrote a musical following the basic melodrama script of a heroine who cannot pay the rent to a dastardly landlord. One musical, four actors playing all the roles, five distinct musical versions of one plot -- this musical has it all. And did we mention the opening number is all about Corn? Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this hilarious show during the summer of 2018.

All those auditioning must prepare a Broadway style song to perform at auditions. Auditions will also consist of cold reads and possibly some improv.
